Time: 2:16 AM
Since I don't seem to be my usual, inspired self right now to do my 101.2 homework, I'm just going to blog.
Second semester started off okay. I was able to enroll in one day, thank God. I almost had a problem during the scholarship assessment but we (my fellow scholars and I) managed to find a solution to it.
FYI, I didn't get my College Scholar status back last semester. My GWA was better than last last semester's, but I certainly felt much worse last semester that I wasn't able to enjoy my break that much. I just want to say thanks, IC, for not torturing your regular and graduating students that much anymore by crediting only three units for the major subjects.
Moving on, obviously I have to be 100% inspired this semester because (1) I need to get my CS status back again, for real, this time, (2) I have a nice schedule and a lot of breaks in between subjects and (3) I took a Math subject! Contrary to the popular belief, Math, for me, is the greatest subject ever introduced to humankind.
Last Wednesday was our first day of classes. I have Math every Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I wasn't that excited during the first day. I only have two classes and a break in between, though, so it's all good. Geog1's going to be fun, I think. My professor took the word "insensitive" to a whole new level, but he's funny. My Chem101.2 prof is hot (can't believe I just typed that) so hello, inspiration. :">
Second day of classes, technically it's still the first day of the TTH classes. My first class, Chem34, starts at 11:30 so I woke up at 8 AM feeling amazing. The excitement went down a little bit when I sensed that Chem34 is going to be boring, because for one, the seats were arranged in alphabetical order, and apparently there are people with last names between Gaitos and Hubilla, so my friend Gerald and I are not seatmates anymore, like what we were last semester in all our major subjects. We were still seated on the same row, though, but that was the middle row, and for me there are only two rows in every class: the front row and the other rows. Not being that much of a grade-conscious person but I really can't study well if I'm seated far from the teacher's table. The excitement went down even more when my Chem34 prof taught the first lesson in the course syllabus, right after the seating arrangement. She told us there will be a hard copy of all the lessons in the syllabus, so it's okay to not take down notes until we get the hard copy. But if I didn't take down notes that meeting I would've slept through the whole period. My other close friend Karrisza, didn't take the same class as we did (CRS put her to the 1-2:30 class), so it's her break during our Chem34 class. I finally got bored writing so I tried texting her. It was my first time texting during class for the reason that I was bored. Usually the only reason why I text in class is because there's an emergency, or my Mom needs me to buy something before I go home. Anyway, right after I replied to one of Karrisza's messages, I received another, and it wasn't from her. It was from Gerald.
Yes, the message was from Gerald, who was seated a few seats far from where I was. Now that was cool. We both found a way to still talk to each other even though we're not seatmates. But still, we're seated on the other rows. I still don't like it.
Math really has this amazing way of making me feel better, so I was happy again after Chem34. Our Math prof taught us the lesson that day, but I totally was okay with it. Because it's Math.
I entered our Chem123 class happy. What made me even happier was when we all found out that the seating plan will be made after we find comfort in our seats, meaning it will be made next meeting and we can choose our own seats. Gerald, Karrisza and I, together with our other close friends, are now seatmates! Well except for Christine. CRS put her to the other 123 class. :|
I was all smiles throughout the class, because I found out that our first few lessons are all going to be about quality assurance. Being a quality controller is my dream job ever since my mom told me all about these amazing stories of how she can taste the product right after it was produced. Imagine testing the quality of chocolates. Yum.
So my almost-stressful day turned out amazing, thanks to Math. Ahihihi.
For a more recent update, today in Chem34, our prof allowed Gerald and me to sit in the front row seats. Yay! Chem123 is still awesome, no need for our calculators yet but quiz on Tuesday about QC oh no! But it's about QC so it's fine, I guess? :3 Geog1 is the funniest class ever and Chem101.2 is starting to intimidate me. No, scratch that, it already did. -__- Math121.1 is ♥.
I'm still not inspired to work on my 101.2 homework, darn it.
