Time: 2:38 AM

Today, Saturday, September 3, 2011, is the first Saturday in my young life that I ever took an exam on, except for the UPCAT. I took my Physics 71 second long exam today.

My mom follows this rule that one minute before a specific moment of time is still early, so I told her my exam's at 8:00 AM, when in fact it was at 9:00, hehe. I got a bit worried because earlier that morning, she realized it was already 7:30 and I was still lazing around the house, and I knew she'll hail a cab soon. Cab fares are really high nowadays, so whenever I leave the house late, I still insist that I should commute (ride a jeepney to UP) and try not to mind being late for class. Anyway, I eventually told her my exam's at 9:00 and left the house.

I'm annoyed at how the roads are basically car-less during weekends. I got to UP at 8:30 AM. If the exam was taken on a weekday instead, I would've arrived much later, around 8:45.

I feel so many emotions about the exam I just took. Frustrated because two hours wasn't enough, and I had to guess the answers for two problems because it was already time to pass the papers. A bit proud, because there are a lot of questions which I know I answered correctly. I almost pulled an all-nighter last night studying for the exam, and most of my hard work has paid off. Weird because I never felt that feeling I usually feel when an exam's hard. The exam's supposed to be hard; rotational motion is a pretty difficult topic. I should've felt nervous, at least, but I didn't. And of course I'm happy because the exam's over.

After the exam, my friend Arwin and I went to SM North to eat to our heart's content and to play at Quantum, our not-so favorite place. I'll talk about it shortly.

I like playing at Quantum. DJMax Technika and the toy-picking machines are the ones I play the most. The thing I hate about Quantum is the way how the people going there dress up. I know each of us have every right to dress up the way we want to but, please, over-sized shirts + humongous shorts + knee high socks + some accessory? I don't have the words to express how awful I feel. And those short shorts that girls wear. They are meant to be worn inside the house! Unless you think a mall can give a homey aura, which can not be the case because first of all, you can't sleep inside a mall and second, there never came and never will come a day when a mall can be so quiet you can hear a pin drop. It's a mall, for crying out loud!

Okay so maybe I shouldn't direct my hatred to Quantum itself; it's not their fault that people are being ridiculous when it comes to fashion, but they can be risking their reputation because of the type of people going there.

But this frustration was immediately dissipated when Arwin and I played Dance Mania. I never played that thing before in my life, so I'm basically a noob. Then Arwin, being a great friend he is, let me play a few songs with him in WILD mode. So of course I felt like I was being laughed at, since I don't know how to play. I had a good laugh about it, though. I nearly forgot I took an exam today.

After playing we went to the department store to try on a few clothes. Yes, Arwin's nice enough to accompany me to the women's clothes' department, not minding the freaky looks he receives from various people. I tried on LBDs and one pink dress. That imaginary 18th party is getting more vivid every time I try on clothes.
